First and foremost, we choose to work with partners who organically and regeneratively grow ingredients because of the impact farming has on the health of the Earth.
Additionally, organic plants have shown to have on average of 40% more antioxidants than conventionally grown plants. Regenerative means healthier, more diverse soils and will offer a wider range of phenolic compounds. This is a strong point when considering product efficacy.
As important as growing methods are, so are post-harvesting and processing methods. When an ingredient on a cosmetic label is not listed as organic, this might be because of the chemical processing it endures during cosmetic manufacturing. With our partners, those types of chemical solvents and processing methods are not utilized, which keeps trace solvents out of your skin care and prevents them from polluting the Earth.
No. In fact, it is just the opposite. Our top lipid layer needs to be intact and healthy in order to prevent breakouts. It is anti-inflammatory, balancing to our microbiome, and protects us from our environment. Keeping our lipid layer healthy is essential to having clear skin.
An invigorating treatment that can be given in as little as 30 minutes. It delivers long-term skin health and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of all skin types. It offers instant, noticeable results with no downtime or irritation. The Hydrafacial treatment removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while simultaneously bathing the skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums. The treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and immediately effective.
Many clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer. We don’t believe in quick fixes, so one treatment per month is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, oily and congested skin. However, each person's needs are different and your skin assessment will determine what skin health program is best for you. In general, continued Hydrafacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain the desired results.
The magic is in the wand, which works like a vacuum to open pores for a deep cleanse and easy extraction of impurities and dead skin cells. It also allows the active ingredients in our boosters to penetrate deeper, for the most effective treatment possible. Boosters are available in the Deluxe and Platinum Hydrafacial options.

Product sales are final. We offer samples and/or the ability to try products in store before you buy. The only reason a product return would be accepted is due to an allergic reaction, which is not common, especially when you have the opportunity to test products through services and at the retail counter. In the case of a reaction, there will be a restocking fee of up to $15 for any returned product to cover the cost of shipping, handling, and the administrative costs incurred. Patch testing is recommended if you are typically a sensitive skin type or schedule a client consultation and skin analysis to assist you with making the best product choices for your skin type and condition.
Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress-related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. Massage is an effective tool for managing this stress, which translates into:
Massage can also help specifically address a number of health issues. Bodywork can:
Natural Luminance offers a variety of massages including Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish, Hot Stone, Myo-Fascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Prenatal, and more. After a proper client analysis and postural assessment, together, we will choose the best massage for your needs.
While you can always come and see me for a lymphatic drainage massage even if you're not exhibiting any specific symptoms, several signs indicate you may need one:
If any of these sound like you, then a manual lymphatic drainage massage (MLD) may be just what you need. This type of massage is perfect for those looking to improve their circulation and detoxify their bodies; it’s also great for reducing swelling from injury or surgery. For example, I've seen many clients who've recently undergone cosmetic surgeries like tummy tucks or BBLs.
Many of my clients have expressed they feel “lighter” or “energized” right after receiving MLD. Several others have reported feeling less pain, improved skin tone, and better overall energy in the days and weeks following their appointment.
In cases where you need MLD after surgery to prevent fibrosis, it is necessary to follow your physicians orders, perform dry brushing at home as directed by your physician or therapist, wear the appropriate garments suggested by your physician, and receive multiple MLD appointments each week to assist in moving the excess waste and fluid to lessen swelling, bruising, and the development of scar tissue. *Please note, in severe cases, and especially after surgery, we may require a physician's note of approval for MLD to be performed.
Your massage or bodywork session will take place in a warm, comfortable, quiet room. Soft music may be played to help you relax. You will lie on a table especially designed for your comfort.
Most massage and bodywork techniques are traditionally performed with the client unclothed; however, it is entirely up to you what you want to wear. You should undress to your level of comfort. Wear loose fitting clothes if you're wanting to receive a stretching session, and trigger point with massage tool use. As for other methods or therapies, you will always be properly draped during the entire massage session.
No. The practitioner will leave the room while you undress. Once you've covered yourself with a clean sheet or towel, please relax on the table and wait for the practitioner to knock and ask for your approval to enter the room.
You will be properly draped at all times to keep you warm and comfortable. Only the area being worked on will be exposed.
A typical full-body massage will include work on your back, arms, legs, feet, hands, head, neck, and shoulders. After a brief discussion about your pain points or the discomfort you're experiencing that day, we will determine what areas need more attention during your session.
There are numerous types of massage and bodywork; various techniques utilize different strokes, including basic rubbing strokes, rocking movement, posture and movement re-education, application of pressure to specific points, and more. We can discuss which methods may be most appropriate for you.
Prior to the massage, feel free to ask any questions about the technique or the upcoming session. During the massage, make yourself comfortable. The practitioner will either gently move you or tell you what is needed throughout the session (such as lifting your arm). Many people just close their eyes and completely relax, communicating if/when they need more or less pressure, another blanket, or anything else relevant to the session. If you have any questions regarding the session or about the particular technique you are receiving, feel free to ask.
Most people feel very relaxed. Some experience freedom from long-term aches and pains developed from tension or repetitive activity. After an initial period of feeling slowed down, people often experience increased energy, heightened awareness, and greater productivity which can last for days.
Yes. That's why it's imperative that, before you begin your session, the practitioner asks general health questions. It is very important that you inform the practitioner of any health problems or medications you are taking. If you are under a doctor's care, it is strongly advised that you receive a written recommendation for massage or bodywork prior to any session. Depending on the condition, approval from your doctor may be required.
